About
Horses have always been an integral part of my life since I was a little girl. I was one of the lucky ones that got my exposure to horses at a very young age riding and taking lessons. I began my serious training under Jill Hassler of Hilltop Farms in Maryland, where Jill helped me to understand how powerful and spiritual the human connection with horses can be. This rapport between horse and rider is key for true teamwork and harmony in the saddle.
From this early training, I went on to work with horses and riders in a variety of different riding disciplines, always from the perspective that the bond between horse and human is critical in developing top performance in any style of riding. To help me appreciate the human side of the horse and rider connection, I completed a B.A. in psychology from Pennsylvania State University and then worked for two years with AmeriCorps, teaching and counseling using an equine therapy model.
Wanting to take a deeper dive into the symbiotic relationship between horse and rider, I became certified as a PATH (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) international instructor, which allowed me to travel throughout the country working as a trainer, as well as a consultant for programs offering equine therapy for individuals with mental and physical special needs.

Through my experience as a therapeutic riding instructor and trainer, I found that many of the horses and riders needed extra support to do their job. This lead me into massage and bodywork for both horse and rider and the development of Equine Solutions. I became a licensed human massage therapist as well as a personal trainer to get a comprehensive education in human anatomy and biomechanics. During this time, I felt like the unity between horse and rider could only be fully explored by comprehending equine anatomy and movement as well, so I earned my certification in integrated equine bodywork through the Masterson Method as well as many other certifications.
Armed with extensive knowledge of human and equine movement, in addition to the psychology behind successful equestrian partnerships, I now offer comprehensive bodywork, rider biomechanics and fitness services for both horse and rider. I travel throughout the United States providing consultations, training, and bodywork for a wide range of riding disciplines and for both individual riders and equestrian facilities.

Travel is another one of my loves and passions. I have been fortunate to travel the world helping people and horses alike, which led me to explore the different regions of the world to learn about equestrian travel businesses. Through this exploration I developed the Equestrian Travel Association. As the member liaison and founder I communicates with all association members, and creates awareness for the equestrian travel industry by communicating with the public, travel agents and the media.
In my work as an equine body worker, massage therapist, trainer, rider and founder of the Equestrian Travel Association, I realized I was providing nearly as much career coaching as I was my other work! A recent injury gave me the time off I needed to think about expanding my own career and look at where I want to be. So, I’ve formed this coaching business to formally offer my services to everyone and let them benefit from my expertise in numerous equestrian areas.
